Toads
Toads can be easily identified by their thick, dry, warty skin. This skin allows the toads to tolerate dry environments. They have short, chubby bodies and stumpy legs that cause them to hop, not leap like frogs. Toad's skin has glands that produce secretions that make them unappetizing to predators. Contrary to popular belief, Toads do not cause warts. However, the secretions can be irritating if you rub them in your eyes.
